Tap is such a big part of what we do here at the Artz Collective. If you love rhythm, love to dance & want to experience the thrill of the big sounds that groups of people tapping can make, then this class is for you.
Master the basics of dynamic Tap Dance in our step by step programs. Learn the basics, the tricks and the triple time-steps of Tap Dance from our highly trained Tap dance staff, some of the best tappers in the country are here to help you develop!
Learn the dynamic Tap Dance vocabulary - like the "shuffle" the time-step", the riff, and all the basics to get you tip-tap-toeing along to class in no time.

Acrobatics is yet another skill we can pass on to our students as they move forward in their dancing. Great for Jazz dancers and for all shapes & sizes, acrobatics develops flexibility, balance, confidence & core strength.
A key element in our Elite Training Programs, acrobatics class gives children confidence and their own set of tricks and skills to use outside of those learnt in a dance class.
Unlike gymnastics, acrobatics is taught to be performed on a surface other than a highly sprung gymnastics floor mat, so it requires careful techniques to conquer your landings and master your teamwork lifts! This and other secrets abound and we can’t wait to show you!

Injury prevention in Irish Dance is one of our foremost concerns when teaching good technique to our young irish dancers. Injury levels in this dance-sport can be very high, so it's our utmost prioritythat we are keeping our young dancers bodies fit and healthy, not just now, but also looking forward for them to enjoy a healthy body for their adult lives and beyond!
Superb Teachers Sharing their Knowledge & Secrets with you!** At the Artz Collective, we recommend that all children doing irish dancing also do a Ballet Class per week to help their Irish Dance technique & their core strength to develop. Plus a Tap Dance class to assist their hard shoe or JIG dance work. Our Ballet Classes are on Saturdays and Wednesdasy after school, and tap dance is on Thursdays or Saturdays.

Kids LOVE Hip-Hop, such a popular & exciting form of dance, Hip-Hop and Street Dance styles and so much fun for students to conquer each routine and give it the energy it deserves!
Children wil love learning these funky steps and revel in their new foiund moves, they'll be dancing around the back yard and the lounge room for hours after class!
And don't worry, all our music and moves are Child & age appropriate - Have you ever listened to or watched Hip-Hop Dance routines & wondered if this is an appropriate style of dance for children?
